This wasn’t an election. It was a revolution.
It’s midnight in America. The day before fifty million Americans got up and stood in front of the great iron wheel that had been grinding them down. They stood there even though the media told them it was useless. They took their stand even while all the chattering classes laughed and taunted them.
They were fathers who couldn’t feed their families anymore. They were mothers who couldn’t afford health care. They were workers whose jobs had been sold off to foreign countries. They were sons who didn’t see a future for themselves. They were daughters afraid of being murdered by the “unaccompanied minors” flooding into their towns. They took a deep breath and they stood.
They held up their hands and the great iron wheel stopped.
The Great Blue Wall crumbled. The impossible states fell one by one. Ohio. Wisconsin. Pennsylvania. Iowa. The white working class that had been overlooked and trampled on for so long got to its feet. It rose up against its oppressors and the rest of the nation, from coast to coast, rose up with it.
They fought back against their jobs being shipped overseas while their towns filled with migrants that got everything while they got nothing. They fought back against a system in which they could go to jail for a trifle while the elites could violate the law and still stroll through a presidential election. They fought back against being told that they had to watch what they say. They fought back against being held in contempt because they wanted to work for a living and take care of their families.
They fought and they won.
This wasn’t a vote. It was an uprising. Like the ordinary men chipping away at the Berlin Wall, they tore down an unnatural thing that had towered over them. And as they watched it fall, they marveled at how weak and fragile it had always been. And how much stronger they were than they had ever known.
Who were these people? They were leftovers and flyover country. They didn’t have bachelor degrees and had never set foot in a Starbucks. They were the white working class. They didn’t talk right or think right. They had the wrong ideas, the wrong clothes and the ridiculous idea that they still mattered.
They were wrong about everything. Illegal immigration? Everyone knew it was here to stay. Black Lives Matter? The new civil rights movement. Manufacturing? As dead as the dodo. Banning Muslims? What kind of bigot even thinks that way? Love wins. Marriage loses. The future belongs to the urban metrosexual and his dot com, not the guy who used to have a good job before it went to China or Mexico.
They couldn’t change anything. A thousand politicians and pundits had talked of getting them to adapt to the inevitable future. Instead they got in their pickup trucks and drove out to vote.
And they changed everything.
Barack Hussein Obama boasted that he had changed America. A billion regulations, a million immigrants, a hundred thousand lies and it was no longer your America. It was his.
He was JFK and FDR rolled into one. He told us that his version of history was right and inevitable.
And they voted and left him in the dust. They walked past him and they didn’t listen. He had come to campaign to where they still cling to their guns and their bibles. He came to plead for his legacy.
And America said, “No.”
Fifty millions Americans repudiated him. They repudiated the Obamas and the Clintons. They ignored the celebrities. They paid no attention to the media. They voted because they believed in the impossible. And their dedication made the impossible happen.
Americans were told that walls couldn’t be built and factories couldn’t be opened. That treaties couldn’t be unsigned and wars couldn’t be won. It was impossible to ban Muslim terrorists from coming to America or to deport the illegal aliens turning towns and cities into gangland territories.
It was all impossible. And fifty million Americans did the impossible. They turned the world upside down.
It’s midnight in America. CNN is weeping. MSNBC is wailing. ABC calls it a tantrum. NBC damns it. It wasn’t supposed to happen. The same machine that crushed the American people for two straight terms, the mass of government, corporations and non-profits that ran the country, was set to win.
Instead the people stood in front of the machine. They blocked it with their bodies. They went to vote even though the polls told them it was useless. They mailed in their absentee ballots even while Hillary Clinton was planning her fireworks victory celebration. They looked at the empty factories and barren farms. They drove through the early cold. They waited in line. They came home to their children to tell them that they had done their best for their future. They bet on America. And they won.
They won improbably. And they won amazingly.
They were tired of ObamaCare. They were tired of unemployment. They were tired of being lied to. They were tired of watching their sons come back in coffins to protect some Muslim country. They were tired of being called racists and homophobes. They were tired of seeing their America disappear.
And they stood up and fought back. This was their last hope. Their last chance to be heard.

The media had the election wrong all along. This wasn’t about personalities. It was about the impersonal. It was about fifty million people whose names no one except a server will ever know fighting back. It was about the homeless woman guarding Trump’s star. A DREAM ABOUT BEING TOLD TO PLANT A GARDEN
I have been reminded lately of a dream I had a few years ago. It was just over six years ago I had this dream and I have wondered if this reminder is the time to plant the garden…many terrible and sad things have happened and many are happening as the terrible battle for earth and mankind goes on against God’s people and against His Creation. Gods’ enemies Satan and his minions and all his cohorts and the wicked of the earth are set to take over the world for evil and they have forgotten there is a Great God in Heaven and set with His Beloved Son Yehsua/Jesus the Christ and our Comforter is set to return to the earth and stop their terrible evil upon this earth against mankind and against His beautiful Creation that awaits His return….
In the dream we had come through terrible battle and the Lord had given us victory over the enemy. Then the Lord told us (there were others of His children who had come through the battles), that we were to do nothing else until we had planted this garden…like in an enclosed garden or protected and we were to plant all these plants, trees, all the plants and shrubs and garden plants and not to stop until it was done and so we all obeyed the Lord and started to plant this beautiful garden. We completed this work instructed of the Lord to build this beautiful garden and many years later I had remembered and returned to the garden and saw that there were many young and older people raising many children oh so busy and they seemed to be just outside the garden and they had forgotten the garden, they had forgotten it was even there …they did not seem to know it was there. but, it was there and it was still growing. I thought it so sad that they had all forgotten the garden for none of them remembered it anymore. Then all of a sudden there were all these great and hale warriors walking up over the knoll and they too had come back to the garden …for they were here to remember the gardens with us because they had helped build the garden and helped do the work of filling the garden full of beautiful trees and plants; we were indeed not the only ones to have been brought back to the garden the Lord instructed us to plant. And there was such joy at our meeting and return to the garden… there was joy and recognition and understanding in our return and remembering the garden the Lord had told us to plant and I wakened from the dream with such joy.
So we are in the seventh year after the dream and I am wondering and praying whether this is the time of the planting and anyway where is the place or field for the garden that is to be planted Lord?
I thought, we have all been planting and helping and praying as we are able in this world, to call people to repentance, to point them to Jesus, to feed the poor and homeless and to help Israel His first Witness and her people back home to rebuild their lands and plant trees and gardens in His and their beloved and restored Holy Land in Israel….but, I think this may be an earthly garden that He may want us to plant and start up for others, to bless them and their families too….so ???……hmmm…I wonder Lord where it is you would have us to plant your garden Lord and where are the other warriors I saw we worked with in the dream?

National Post …..Islamic State group militants invaded the Central Library of Mosul earlier this month, they were on a mission to destroy a familiar enemy: other people’s ideas.
Residents say the extremists smashed the locks that had protected the biggest repository of learning in the northern Iraq town, and loaded around 2,000 books — including children’s stories, poetry, philosophy and tomes on sports, health, culture and science — into six pickup trucks. They left only Islamic texts.
Since the Islamic State group seized a third of Iraq and neighbouring Syria, they have sought to purge society of everything that doesn’t conform to their violent interpretation of Islam. They already have destroyed many archaeological relics, deeming them pagan, and even Islamic sites considered idolatrous. Increasingly books are in the firing line……
A University of Mosul history professor, who spoke on condition he not be named because of his fear of the Islamic State group, said the extremists started wrecking the collections of other public libraries last month. He reported particularly heavy damage to the archives of a Sunni Muslim library, the library of the 265-year-old Latin Church and Monastery of the Dominican Fathers and the Mosul Museum Library with works dating back to 5000 BC……
Citing reports by the locals who live near these libraries, the professor added that the militants used to come during the night and carry the materials in refrigerated trucks with Syria-registered license plates. The fate of these old materials is still unknown, though the professor suggested some could be sold on the black market. In September, Iraqi and Syrian officials told the AP that the militants profited from the sale of ancient artifacts.
The professor said Islamic State group militants appeared determined to “change the face of this city … by erasing its iconic buildings and history.”
An Iraqi lawmaker, Hakim al-Zamili, said the Islamic State group “considers culture, civilization and science as their fierce enemies.”
Al-Zamili, who leads the parliament’s Security and Defence Committee, compared the Islamic State group to raiding medieval Mongols, who in 1258 ransacked Baghdad. Libraries’ ancient collections of works on history, medicine and astronomy were dumped into the Tigris River, purportedly turning the waters black from running ink.
“The only difference is that the Mongols threw the books in the Tigris River, while now Daesh is burning them,” he said, using an Arabic acronym for the Islamic State group. “Different method, but same mentality.”

The list of towns Muslims captured with varying degrees of destruction includes but is not limited to Pella, Damascus, Homs and Emesa in 635; Palmyra, Petra and the six sophisticated desert cities of the Nabateans, wiped out in 636. The Muslims took Ctesiphon in 637. It would prosper as a Muslim stronghold until 1062 when the Pisans sacked it, then 1072 when the Normans took it and rebuilt it as their Sicilian capital.
In 846, a Muslim army from Cordoba sacked Leon; another sacked Rome and burnt St. Peters. In 878, Muslims conquered Syracuse. In 985, Muslims burned Barcelona and then Leon in 988. In 976 al-Mansur, the new regent for the child Caliph of Cordoba

Around the year 999, the same year he murdered his brother, Mahmud of Ghazni destroyed the Hindu temple dedicated to Shiva at Somnath in Gujarat. Then he burned the famous library of the Fatimids in Bokhara. He may have advertised himself as a patron of the arts, but in reality he was just another two-bit religious fanatic. He built the Celestial Bride Mosque in Ghazni.
Christian Barcelona sacked Cordoba in 1010. Muslims raided Pisa in 1011: their last big raid into Italy. In 1013, Berber rebels seized and sacked Cordoba wracked by internal unrest. Al-Mansur’s palace and carefully censored library were destroyed. In 1071 Seljuk Turks took Jerusalem from the Fatimid Muslims, then they fought each other among its ruins.
On or just before the first weekend of 2012, during rioting between political protestors and the military, the Institute of Egypt was gutted during twelve hours of fire and then flooded by Cairo’s Fire Department. The next week, the remains of 192,000 books, journals and other writings were picked over by volunteers trying to salvage something from the wet ashes of that collapsed building. One of the five copies in existence of the 24-volume Description de l’Égypte, hand-written during Napoleon’s scientific expedition, was destroyed along with many irreplaceable texts on Egyptian culture and history.
Libyan Islamists destroyed a Sufi library in the Asmari Mosque as well as other shrines in Tripoli, Misrata and Zlitan in August 2012. In January, 2013, like-minded fanatics destroyed more mosques and shrines in Timbuktu, Mali. Thanks to the preservation efforts of heroic locals (Abdel Kaddel Haidara and many of the town’s leading families) with foreign support arranged by Stephanie Daikité, those religious thugs found “only” 4,000 manuscripts to destroy out of a scattered collection of 300,000 or more.
In January 2014, two thirds of a nearly 80,000 title library of irreplaceable Muslim and Christian manuscripts and books in Tripoly were put to the torch, based on a spurious accusation invented by religious Libyan fanatics.
